for the Viper managed website.

1. The service
Viper Media provides managed website and ecommerce services for the active annual plan. The service can include design, development, hosting, SSL, security maintenance, backups, updates, search optimization, Google Business Profile/local SEO work and reasonable business-content changes, depending on the selected plan and technical feasibility.
2. Domain
The domain is separate from the Viper managed website service. Domain registration and renewal are billed at the applicable registrar cost, and the domain should remain controlled by the client/business.
3. Viper intellectual property
Viper Media retains ownership of its proprietary designs, design systems, code, components, templates, logic, workflows, deployment methods and other reusable implementation. The client receives the right to use the live Viper-managed website for the duration of the active service.
4. Cancellation
When the service ends, the Viper-managed website and proprietary implementation are retired. The client keeps control of its domain and its own business materials/data that are separately identifiable. A new independently owned design/implementation can be commissioned for the domain.
5. SEO
Search work is an optimization service, not a ranking guarantee. Search engines control ranking and display decisions.
6. Third-party costs
Domain registrations, paid third-party subscriptions, payment-gateway fees and other vendor charges are separate unless explicitly stated in the selected plan.
7. Fair use
“Reasonable changes” means ordinary business updates that fit the managed service. Large redesigns, complex custom applications, unusual integrations or major migrations may require a separate scope and quote.
